WHAT IS BUYER ’S ASSURANCE?
Buyer ’s Assurance is a 60-day comprehensive coverage package with no deductible. It’s automatically included (on qualifying used Freightliner trucks) , at no extra charge, with every qualifying used Freightliner truck you purchase. Coverage begins the day you take delivery of your used SelecTruck. Buyer ’s Assurance offers you peace of mind by protecting you from unforeseen costly used truck failures. In the event a repair is needed, simply go to any of our more than 600 Freightliner, Sterling or Western Star dealer locations across the country. They will confirm your coverage, repair covered items, and you will be on your way. It ’s that easy. Additionally, in the case of
a Freightliner truck-down situation, you can call our toll-free Freightliner Roadside Assistance number for full repair coordination at the nearest Freightliner LLC service location.

EquiFlo Inboard Fuel System
The EquiFlo inboard fuel system, standard on the Columbia, is a new design that pumps fuel to and from the engine, and equalizes the level of fuel in the tanks.

Eliminates the “crossover tube” that used to equalize the fuel level in the tanks, and thus reduces the potential for spills. Another advantage is that it provides a better mixing of the hot return fuel from the engine with the cooler fuel in the tanks, thus improving engine performance.

Less potential worry about environmental “disasters” with a fuel spill, and increased fuel economy from an efficiently running engine.

Wiper Efficiency
Columbia offers a large windshield area with wipers designed for maximum coverage.

System wipes 65% of the total viewed area.

Improved visibility in adverse weather conditions, thus reducing the chance for accidents.

Fresh Air Ventilation
The Columbia has 17 air outlets inside the cab.

Allows flow-through ventilation of fresh air to enter and exit the cab, that increases cab air flow and improves temperature control.

Modern 21 setting HVAC system allows continuous cab air replacement that removes odors and particles for a healthier working environment. This will help reduce the potential costs of driver turnover.

Low Voltage Disconnect (LVD)
The Low Voltage Disconnect is a device that disconnects the accessory circuits when the battery reaches 12.2 volts.

Helps assure that the battery still has enough power to start the engine.

Reduced potential maintenance expenses from having to replace batteries, and peace of mind knowing your truck should start even if electrical components are left on for an extended period.

Driver Display
The Driver Display is a visual display in the dashboard and can display warnings from 26 different areas.

Ability to display fault codes from components that have an ECU (electronic control unit).

Costly repairs can potential be avoided by a timely warning of the problem.
